ALLOWABLE HEADER LOADS
FOR TYPE A and TYPE C SANDWICH PANELS

Panel A is made of two equal layers of 7/16" APA rated (24/16) OSB.

Panel C is made of a layer of 7/16" OSB APA rated (24/16) and a layer of 19/32" plywood.

Each skin is rated (24/16). Each type has a core of 0.95 pcf minimum density EPS foam adhered to the sheathing with glue and set under pressure.

3. These headers must have a dimensional lumber single plate at top and bottom
and along both end edges.

6. Since the bottom plate will be used for transfer of the transverse loadings the
following loads cannot be exceeded or a double plate will be required:
