ALLOWABLE RACKING (PLF)
FOR TYPE A and TYPE C SANDWICH PANELS

Panel A is made of two equal layers of 7/16" APA rated (24/16) OSB.

Panel C is made of a layer of 7/16" OSB APA rated (24/16) and a layer of 19/32" plywood.

Each skin is rated (24/16). Each type has a core of 0.95 pcf minimum density EPS foam adhered to the sheathing with glue and set under pressure.

Notes:
1. The panels using the dimensional lumber center spline will have lumber
along the top and bottom and both ends, along with the center spline. The
panels will connected to the lumber with a minimum 8d nail at 6" on center.

2. The panels using the OSB center spline will have lumber along the top and
bottom and both ends. The panels will be attached with a minimum 8d nail
at 6" on center.
